Corneal Care

Vision Associates provides both medical and surgical treatment of all corneal diseases.

Our corneal specialist, Dr. Qais Farjo, joined Vision Associates in 2005 after working for several years as an attending physician at the University of Michigan. He provides a full range of corneal surgical care including LASIK and other refractive surgeries.

He consults on the management of difficult corneal and lens problems such as those caused by trauma, severe infections or familial problems. He performs more corneal transplants than anyone in the region.

He also has the most experience of anyone in the region in the surgical correction of keratoconus with Intacs.

Vision Associates has the region's most extensive range of special computerized equipment to measure the surface of the cornea and on-site lasers for prompt treatment of a variety of problems.
