Dr. Ariss joins Vision Associates after a distinguished academic career at Cleveland Clinic and the Friedenwald Eye Institute in Baltimore. She has received numerous academic awards at these institutions and throughout her training. She is Northwest Ohio's first truly comprehensive specialist in pediatric ophthalmology with expertise not only in conventional strabismus problems but also complex pediatric and adult strabismus surgery, pediatric cataract and glaucoma care, and management of congenital eye disease. She coordinates care with pediatric neurologists, pediatricians, primary eye care providers and other specialists, including the Vision Associates Retina Service which is the region's exclusive provider of eye care for premature children.
