What's New at Vision Associates?
Dr. Hooman Harooni joined Vision Associates in July. He joins us from the Cornea Service at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Harooni is a native of Los Angeles, graduating with honors from UCLA. He received his medical training at the University of Cincinatti, residency training at Medical College of Georgia, and has completed one the best cornea fellowships in the country at The Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Harooni has special expertise in all corneal diseases including the latest techniques in corneal transplantation, endothelial cell transplants, refractive surgery, LASIK, and many other procedures. We are very excited to have Dr. Harooni on board and look forward to introducing him to our corneal patients.
The UTMC Department of Ophthalmology 
Vision Associates is the University of Toledo Medical Center Division of Ophthalmology. With this new relationship, UTMC now has, for the first time, a truly comprehensive ophthalmology service. We have been providing all consultative services at UT since the summer of 2009, and we are now providing a full lecture series, student and resident rotations, and full medical and surgical service offerings.
